These are the same yummy red Sun Fuji apples you love but in a mini bento or eat whole handy size.
Please look at the pictures in the gallery, these are apples that aren’t able to be sold via JA as they are seconds. They have scars, discoloured patches, sunburn, cracks and/ or dimples. I can attest that they still taste yummy!
Fuji are a very sweet apple. They are the big red apples sold in supermarkets Japan-wide. They are not a tart cooking apple. They are not as crunchy as other varieties. But, in comparison to the apples that travel commercial channels from orchard to JA to broker to wholesale market to supermarket to you these are going to arrive fresh and as crispy as a Fuji gets!
These apples are grown by Amelia. They are grown using traditional methods so have been sprayed numerous times throughout the year with fungicides and other chemicals. These are not organic in any way. However Amelia’s family does not use hormone sprays nor herbicides (just look at all those weeds around her trees! 
) so these apples have lower contact with chemicals than many commercially grown apples.
