Grown from conventional (not organic) seed potato but without any inputs whatsoever. Barely even hand weeded. 😉
Kita Akari potatoes have a rough ‘flaky’ skin and a slightly yellow flesh. They have slightly pink tinged eyes and are a ‘fluffy’ potato that breaks down when cooked. Not great in stew but makes fabulous mashed potato. This is my go to for baked potatoes.
