These are a cross between a Kyoho and a European grape Rosario Bianco. They are huge with a thin skin that is usually eaten (unlike Kyoho). They are so very grape tasting that I think they taste like artificial grape flavouring!
The actual grape is very juicy and almost jelly-like. These are the ‘King of grapes’ in this area and used for gift giving.
The same great Nagano purple grape flavour as in a bunch of grapes but trimmed and served in indestructible boxes to make them transportable by post.
A fabulous price to try the king of grapes!
All grapes sold at Nagano, naturally are farmed conventionally (with spraying) by neighbour and friend Jennifer. Yup, another foreign, female farmer in the ‘hood! This time from the Philippines.
